Hello, and welcome to my portfolio. My name is Hassan Williamson, and I'm an experienced web developer based in Cumbria (UK). The website you see before you was created to show projects I am currently working on and also those that I have completed.

Something that might be useful to some of you. Ever wondered how to find when a web page was actually published when trying to reference it? Well in google if you search for the page you can tell if you add &as_qdr=y15 at the end of the google address and hit enter. Below the result of the page link you'll now find a date, this is when the page was last updated or published. Why doesn't google do this by default?

I've made a nice script if your using firefox which you can add to your bookmark toolbar to automatically do a search of the page your currently looking at and adds that code too. So all you'll have to do is browse to the page you want to referance, click the bookmark of the script I made and then look for the date :)! On some pages the result might not show up in google, all you have to do is on the google search bar is take off the http:// part and then re-search, if that still doesn't work, try taking off some of the stuff at the end of search and then try again.

Either drag that to your bookmark toolbar, or right-click the link and select "Bookmark This Link" and where it says "create in" pick "Bookmarks Toolbar".
